🎯In this video I explain how to diagnose the Yaw-Rate Sensor with Multimeter, Scan Tool and Oscilloscope. Yaw-Rate sensor is very important sensor on ESP (Electronic Stability Program) for detecting the vehicle rotation around the vertical axis. If anything goes wrong with this sensor, ESP will not function and you will get a fault code. In this video I show you the location of this sensor, I explain the sensor wiring diagram and we identify each single wire on the sensor. Then I explain how to diagnose the sensor with the Live Data on scan tool and also how to perform the sensor calibration. Then we move on to the sensor wiring diagnostic with multimeter and also with oscilloscope. Using the Oscilloscope is important for diagnosing this sensor as it shares the data via CAN-BUS. I performed this test on a KIA RIO 2012.
