| GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
EPS provides different assist force according to vehicle speed while engine ON. A vehicle speed signal must be inputted normally to EPS CM for normal EPS control.
| DTC DESCRIPTION |
EPS CM sets this code if EPS CM doesn′t receives a vehicle speed signal from EMS normally. At that time it controls EPS system by using predefined vehicle speed value.

| TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION |
| 1. | Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage. |
| 2. | Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. |
| 3. | Has a problem been found ?

| 1. | Ignition “OFF”. |
| 2. | Ignition “ON” & Engine “OFF”. |
| 3. | Connect scantool and select “Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)” mode |
| 4. | Using a scantool, Clear DTC. |
| 5. | Select “Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)” mode again. |
| 6. | Are any DTCs present ?
